Salvabosque is a project focused on solving the problem of inefficient and polluting biomass combustion systems used for cooking and heating, especially in developing countries. We have developed two patented biomass-burning technologies that are clean, efficient, user-friendly, and, most importantly, sustainable: firewood and charcoal. Devices based on both technologies are up to 90 % more efficient than traditional biomass-burning stoves.We have created firewood-burning prototypes that we have extensively tested in home, commercial and industrial applications. These devices use an expansion-based combustion system to achieve clean combustion with the aid of a 12-volt that can be powered directly from the grid or with the help of a solar panel plus a battery. In the case of charcoal, we have manufactured and sold over 2,000 units of our portable stoves that can grill, boil, fry, smoke, and roast foods. These devices rely solely on natural air convection to achieve clean combustion.
