- We created a virtual currency which gives more flexibility to our users: they no longer need a direct exchange partner. They can use their credit on the network with any registered member. We also worked for several years on a matching system that enables the companies to find counterparts easily on the online platform. It’s easy for them to post their offers and publish what they look for… The Barter euros currency then enables to maximize the opportunities of transactions with several actors identifying those who need to sell more and those who are looking for items to purchase.

- Our marketplace creates of a collaborative community where entrepreneurs, small and medium size companies can propose their products and services in order to find new clients within the network and belong to sharing economy. The financial situation is less at stake on our marketplace than in the classical economy because what matters is the quality of the products or services than can be delivered more than the ability for the company to finance it…

- France Barter is based on a cooperative and participative model. To get access to our network, all companies are invited to take a share in our cooperative, they benefit then from the same right like shareholders - The share in the cooperative is 100€ - The annual fees is 135€ - A 5% commission fee based on the value of the invoice when transaction is done More and more business are getting involve in our country and some regions or cities are willing to implement Barter systems to boot interaction within their companies. We are helping them to develop their initiatives. We are selling our expertise and sometimes our techno for those who think Bartering has to play a more significant role in our actual economy !
- ¿Cómo es la escala de tu proyecto?¿Zonal, regional, nacional o globlal? ¿Por qué?
- For the moment the project is national given the economic context the 4 million small and medium size French companies have been impacted. The country have good assets (hotels, food and wine, innovative services, high valu added services…) but lack of liquidity for companies to invest. We are looking further to make it international. However, Barter find its roots on complemnatarity but yet on proximity : confidence is oimportant in th B2B relation and our members find it easier to collaborate with othe companies in thei geographical zone, so we need regional offices to improve to communication and the proximity with our users, we already have 3 of those in France.
